Dr. Elena Hunanyan is a board certified psychiatrist providing mental health services in Glendale, Silverlake, Los Feliz, Los Angeles and surrounding areas. She is also a staff psychiatrist at UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Hunanyan treats adults with mood and anxiety disorders, provides medication management (psychopharmacology), as well as psychotherapy services in a safe, respectful, nonjudgmental and supportive environment.
Dr. Hunanyan completed her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago, and her undergraduate studies at Occidental College as well as University College London, UK. She then went on to complete her psychiatry residency at UCLA - San Fernando Valley Program where she was appointed Chief Resident. Following residency Dr. Hunanyan completed the Deutsch Mood Disorders Fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Hunanyan is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
